I thought tonight I would write about a new addition to my portfolio, in size, that is around 7% portfolio weight: Molson. In a nutshell, Molson is the world’s #4 largest brewery, with dominant market share in Canada (estimated between 33-38%) and also the United States (estimated at 22-28) with the Miller Light and Coors brands. For anybody who drinks beer, they know the brand. It’s prevalent everywhere you look and is very embedded in Canadian culture as both an iconic company and product.
